While I’m not known for my ability to make a mean latte, I’m pretty good at brewing up sweet marketing ideas for America’s (and Ben Affleck’s) favorite coffee chain: Dunkin’.  

TV ads showing NFL players doing the unexpected. Fun, quippy social posts that get your mouth watering. Billboards reminding you how cool you are…

No matter the project or the medium, I’m just there to have fun.

:30 National Spot – “Justin Fields Runs On Dunkin’”

Back in the spring of 2023, Dunkin’ approached MACLYN to create an evergreen TV commercial promoting the message that “Justin Runs on Dunkin'.”

So, I got to work dreaming up what that might look like. This is what immediately came to mind. It was an absolutely stupid (but 100% original) idea…just so stupid that it might work.

Fun fact: in addition to being really entertaining, this ad pays homage to another iconic Dunkin’ ad from years ago. I’ll let you figure out what the reference is.


:15 Chicagoland Spot – “It’s Always a Good Time”

Real iced coffee fans know that there’s never a bad time for a cool, tasty energy boost. Rain, shine, morning or night…you can’t go wrong with a $2 iced coffee.

Social Media Ghostwriting

Whether I’m ghostwriting for Dunkin’s social media accounts or a celebrity partner’s (like Justin Fields), it’s my job to be an “impressionist” of sorts. In other words, I’m fully committed to the bit. The bit being brand identity.

Consecutive OOH – Dunkin’ Iced

A three-part ego-boosting saga for thirsty drivers traveling through Chicagoland in the summer of 2023, this consecutive OOH project positioned Dunkin’ Iced as the drink of choice for (really cool) people trying to beat the heat.


Lollapalooza 2023 – Event Signage

Promoting pop-ups, sampling locations and other Dunk-ified festival experiences, MACLYN created a wide variety of event signage for Lollapalooza 2023. When we needed an extra boost of creativity to grab festivalgoers’ attention, I was more than happy to step in and lend my quippy expertise.

Highway Billboard - Perk Up Your PM

Dunkin’ rolled out a limited-time offer campaign in the spring of 2022, aimed at attracting and retaining more afternoon customers. As such, I rolled out a short, sweet headline to make it sing.
